313 East

The time is approaching when we will no longer make the trek up the hill. We all worked up there this weekend. Sat. UT and I wondered if we could get by without mowing another time. . . . finally decided to leave the lawnmower home.

When we got up there the future owners showed up to do yardwork. They worked hard both Sat and Sun. They mowed grass, pulled weeds and trimmed back the weeds below the hill. The have started to put up a fence for their terriers. The fenceposts for the back fence are down the hill so the fence itself will not be visible from the house. That is a pretty good idea.

Also, they plan to move the living room wall in toward the dining room in order to make room for a nice closet in the master bedroom. Then the master bath will extend into my mom's closet .

The most exciting is that they will knock out the wall between the kitchen and the dining room and make an island there with a second sink for food prep. That way the cook can look at the whole valley from a work station. Interesting, huh?

They have one 2 year old who will have the front bedroom, haven't sold their house yet, so will have construction done at 313 while they wait on sale of their house. They'll work until money runs out, and if the other house hasn't sold, will eventually rent it and move.

We're going up again tonight and put things out for the Salvation Army who are coming tomorrow. We're trying to decide about possible rain. Everything is out in front right now and they will not pick up if things are wet . . . .

That's all for now. I want to get out of here as soon as possible.

Can't wait for this weekend. Get lots of sleep Andy, Kay Lynn and Damon.
